This project consists of 2 parts:
A type specimen booklet of Helvetica typeface,
36 pages including the cover, using only Helvetica throughout.
A typographic poster that also uses Helvetica exclusively.

(01) TYPE SPECIMEN BOOK
This type specimen was designed with a "pixelated" concept, and all used imagery was converted to "bitmap" format. The bitmap’s pixel/grid structure aligns with the ethos of Swiss Design, which prioritizes grids, systematic organization, and minimalism. At the same time, it creates an intriguing contrast with Helvetica - a typeface renowned for its cleanliness, precision, and neutrality.
→ Bitmap & Pixelate = a digitization of the Swiss Design grid aesthetic, used to interpret Helvetica through a modern visual language.

Drawing on imagery derived directly from the quotes: Rivers, Water, and Stones (Sông - Nước - Đá). I adopted concept of "ink-wash painting" (tranh thuỷ mặc); this approach aligns seamlessly with the aforementioned elements, while the text treatment mimics the style of "traditional calligraphy" (chữ thư pháp).
